The Cincinnati Bengals are dealing with some issues at wide receiver, specifically with their two best.
Not only is Ja’Marr Chase still dealing with a contract issue (he did play in Week 1), but Tee Higgins (hamstring) remains injured after sitting out the season opener.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor recently updated Higgins’ status.
“We’ll just keep taking it day-to-day. … Making good progress,” Taylor said, via Chatterbox Sports.

Cincinnati is coming off arguably the worst loss of Week 1 in the NFL.
They were upset by the rebuilding New England Patriots with a first-year head coach in Jerod Mayo leading the way.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow managed just 164 passing yards, completing 21 of 29 attempts.
The offense was shut out in the first half and was forced to punt four times.
Now, in Week 2, the Bengals have to play the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, not the best kind of “get-right” game.
However, if Cincinnati can pull off the upset on the road against one of its biggest rivals in the AFC, it could be exactly what the Bengals need to get back on track.
In order to have a chance against Patrick Mahomes, they will need a healthy Higgins and a fully committed Chase.
Additionally, they just need to come out and play better as a team, because that’s how they got to the Super Bowl a few seasons ago.
