The Miami Dolphins got some good news at practice on Wednesday after they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-17 in Week One.
According to NFL Network insider Cameron Wolfe, running back De’Von Achane (ankle injury) returned to practice today in a limited fashion.
“Watched him go thru all RB drills & reps including changing direction/catching passes on his ankle. No red jersey or clear visual limitations from media viewing,” Wolfe posted on social media.
De’Von Achane practiced today in what appeared to be a lighter walkthrough session.

Achane was one of the league’s most explosive and electrifying players as a rookie in 2023 before dealing with a knee injury.
His 7.8 yards-per-rush mark is the highest single-season mark in NFL history (minimum 100 rushing attempts).
He recorded 997 scrimmage yards and 11 total touchdowns in just 11 games.
When healthy, he and veteran back Raheem Mostert might be the best duo at that position in the league.
Mostert made his first Pro Bowl last season after leading the league in rushing touchdowns with 18 and putting up his first career 1,000-yard season.
With Mike McDaniel calling the shots and designing plays, Miami has one of the best offenses in the league.
Now that they are 1-0 and getting near full strength, it could be a sign of better things to come for the offense.
