Ahead of the Week 1 matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars at Hard Rock Stadium this past Sunday, superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill was pulled over by police before reaching the stadium for a moving violation, which escalated into an altercation resulting in arguably the Dolphins best player getting arrested.

This arrest of potentially the league’s elite wide receiver made headlines before games got underway on the first Sunday of the regular season, with many believing that the police were out of line and deserved to be fired for how they treated the superstar wideout.

With Hill seemingly being wrongfully arrested and then released not long after with his agent Drew Rosenhaus taking care of things in Miami, there’s been a lot of outrage about how this situation got handled with all the videos surfacing on the incident that were filmed by many on the side of the road.

As a hot topic of discussion which is far from over, more details have surfaced about the incident and what caused Hill to be pulled over in the first place, as he was cited for speeding, with a “visual estimation” being that he was going 60 miles per hour, according to Jeff Darlington of ESPN.

There’s likely to be more information coming out about what happened on Sunday and whether the police were in the wrong on how they treated Hill.

Even though this was quite a thing to go through before playing a game, it didn’t seem to impact Hill that much in terms of performance on the field, as he caught seven passes for 130 yards and a touchdown, helping the Dolphins beat the Jaguars.
