Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs is on the verge of his second season and it may be better than his historic first.

But before returning to the court, he got a new look that will have people talking.

A picture shared by BASKETBALL on X, per Hoop Central, showed Wembanyama’s look, which is receiving high praise from fans.

Wembanyama is now just weeks away from his second season.

Hot on the heels of his Rookie of the Year season, people are expecting great things from Wembanyama.

They have every reason to believe that he will get better in 2024-25 and beyond.

Last season, he averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and a league-high 3.6 blocks.

But the thing that was really wild about his season was that he was getting better as it went on.

His offensive game, in particular, improved a lot from the beginning to the end of the season.

That means he will be even more of a threat in the new year.

Wembanyama might be looking different and playing better.

There are many people who think he’s the odds-on favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year in 2024-25.

Others think he is on the verge of winning MVP and isn’t too far off from being a championship contender too.

As exciting as his first season was, Wembanyama’s second could be even better.

He is feeling more comfortable on the court and with his team, and this new hairstyle is a sign of that.

Will it stick around all season or will he change things up as the year progresses?

Regardless, everyone will be paying close attention to Wembanyama.
