Shaq Names The Worst NBA Player Of All-Time

During his playing days, Shaquille O’Neal dominated the NBA because of his raw power and physicality.

He was also an intelligent player with outstanding footwork and an understanding of the game, but he was mostly known for his brutal bursts of strength.

Notably, that goes perfectly with his personality as well.

He’s a caring and easy-going person with a great sense of humor, but he’s also ruthless when it comes to speaking his mind.

That’s why the guys at Complex didn’t waste the opportunity to gather his thoughts about the worst player in NBA history.

Unsurprisingly, Shaq chose Rudy Gobert, stating that even though Ben Simmons is “another bum,” Gobert is absolutely worse.

When asked about that, Shaq claimed that if a player gets $250 million, then he should play up to that level.

He talked about there being reasons why he’s all banged up, stating that he actually worked hard to get that money, which isn’t the case with Gobert.

Shaq also claimed that there are doctors and people with “real jobs” who don’t get that much money.

Ironically, during his playing days, Shaq was often criticized for his work ethic.

Then again, no one can say he didn’t bring top-notch intensity to the table, particularly in big moments.

Gobert is by no means a bad player, and he’s most definitely not the worst player in NBA history.

But with that kind of money comes a heavy burden to carry on his shoulders, and the fans and even most of his colleagues still haven’t seen that from him on the court.
