The Kansas City Chiefs are about to start their quest for their third consecutive Super Bowl.
Their leader, MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is also about to start his eighth NFL season.
To celebrate the start of it, No. 15 released a hype video on social media to excite Chiefs fans all over the place.
“Year 8,” Mahomes posted with the picture of an alarm clock.

Arguably the best player in the league right now, the two-time MVP and three-time Super Bowl champion is looking to put together another magical season.
He has guided the Chiefs to 10+ wins in six consecutive seasons with the team also making the last six AFC Championship Games.
Other than maybe Aaron Rodgers, there hasn’t been a better pure passer in the history of the NFL.
If the 28-year-old can take Kansas City to its third consecutive Super Bowl title, his case for the greatest quarterback of all time would easily be strengthened.
No team in the history of the league has ever won three consecutive Super Bowls.
Mahomes will not be on this quest alone as head coach Andy Reid, All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, star defensive tackle Chris Jones, and others will look to help shoulder the load.
Kansas City’s quest for glory starts tonight at Arrowhead as they welcome in another MVP in quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
This will be a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship Game where Kansas City took down Baltimore.
It could very well be an AFC Championship Game preview too.
