Jeremy Lin’s NBA career wasn’t as successful as some thought it’d be.

The point guard had to work his way up from the G-League after not being much of a highly-touted prospect.

He’ll forever be remembered for the legendary ‘Linsanity’ run with the New York Knicks, but he wasn’t able to keep that same level up after that.

He still managed to stay in the league for longer, bouncing from team to team and in different roles.

Moreover, the Taiwanese-American guard never gave up on his basketball career.

He recently announced on social media that he would be coming back for a 15th season as a pro.

He will sign a one-year deal with the New Taipei Kings.

The Kings are one of seven teams that will play in the new Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL), which will have its inaugural season in 2024-25.

Lin is coming off a very successful season, averaging 19.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.4 assists.

Of course, he’s talked multiple times about his desire to get back to the NBA at some point, and it would’ve been nice to see him walk away from the league on his own terms.

Then again, with him being 36 years old already and being out of the league for so long, his chances of making a comeback seem quite slim, to say the least.
