Fans have been expecting the Phoenix Suns to be one of the best teams in the NBA for a few years now.

And those fans have been consistently let down by Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and their team.

However, this could be the year they turn everything around.

That is according to Kevin Garnett, who expressed his high hopes for the team, via Courtside Buzz.

“Devin Booker can be an MVP, you know what I’m saying. Bradley Beal, he can be an MVP. These guys, they got it, bro. And you got KD,” Garnett said.

Of course, the Suns had those three players last year and they still were bounced out of the playoffs in the first round, swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves with ease.

So, why does Garnett think the upcoming season will be a rebound one for the Suns?

Part of it likely has to do with the fact that they have a new head coach, plus they are all healthy – at least for now.

There are definite reasons to believe in this team but if things don’t get a lot better in 2024-25, fans will give up hope.

And the front office might make some changes too.

They could trade away their biggest players, including Durant or Booker, if the new season isn’t much better than the last.

No matter how much potential they have, the Suns need to start delivering or else this experiment will come to an end.

Garnett thinks this will be their year but many Suns fans felt the same way last year, and were ultimately very disappointed.

Will they be disappointed again?
