To say the Boston Celtics will be the team to beat next season would be a massive understatement.

Perhaps that’s why Jaylen Brown has been a man on a mission during the offseason.

He proclaimed himself as an Olympic snub, and while there was a case to be made for him making the team, it’s not like he was a lock or anything like that.

With that in mind, Brown has taken his physical preparation to a whole new level, doing drills in the pool, dribbling a ball while lifting weights underwater, etc.

That’s why he took to X to share a pic of himself dressed up as Aquaman.

That hilarious Photoshopped picture is most definitely going to make the rounds next season whenever he has a bad game.

Brown is a very good player and one of the few players in the league who still takes pride in playing defense, yet it seems like he’s never going to be much of a fan favorite.

Even so, no one can take anything away from him, and while most fans might feel like he’s vastly overpaid, he led his team to an NBA championship right after signing that record-breaking contract, so perhaps it’s time to give respect where it’s due.
