After three seasons with the Chicago Bulls, Alex Caruso has a new home with the Oklahoma City Thunder following a trade earlier this summer.
He will be tasked with adding perimeter defense and veteran experience to a young team that finished with the best record in the Western Conference last season but clearly wasn’t ready to compete for an NBA championship.
Off the court, Caruso has made another big change in his life, as he has gotten engaged to Haleigh Broucher, per ClutchPoints.

Caruso is a rags-to-riches story in the NBA, as he went undrafted out of Texas A&M University in 2016.
After spending some time in the G League, he became a valuable role player who has made his reputation on the defensive end.
In both of the last two seasons, he has been named to one of the NBA’s two All-Defensive teams, and he’s known as a player who will get up in the face of the man he is assigned to guard while harassing that player.
Caruso is also known as a hustle player who will give 100 percent and will go after loose balls and make energy plays to help his team win.
While he is very limited offensively, he has shown some promise as a floor-spacer, as he made 40.8 percent of his 3-point attempts on a career-high 4.7 attempts per game this past season.
Many are high on the Thunder’s prospects this coming season, and they have lots of room for improvement, as center Chet Holmgren and forward Jalen Williams are thought to have plenty of untapped potential.
