Stephen Curry has only played for one team during his many years in the NBA and made it clear on Thursday that he doesn’t want to change that.
Curry signed another extension with the Golden State Warriors, putting to end minor speculation about him leaving the team.
Speaking on “First Take”, Brian Windhorst said that Curry’s signing is a big sign from the future Hall of Famer.
“This is just him backing up what he’s always said, which is he wants to be a Warrior for life,” Windhorst said.
.@WindhorstESPN says Steph Curry’s extension is a “vote of confidence in the direction of the Warriors” 📈

Windhorst stated that Curry’s signing with the team was a “vote of confidence in the direction of the Warriors.”
In other words, he likes the way the team is working, even though they missed the playoffs last season and just lost Klay Thompson.
Most people agree that the Warriors won’t be returning to the Finals this season but Windhorst reminded viewers that they are “big game hunting” and looking for another superstar to join the roster.
They were eager to get LeBron James, Paul George, or Lauri Markkanen, a sign that they are attempting to bolster the lineup soon.
Curry is going to stick around, the front office will keep trying to sign more talent, and younger players will continue to improve.
All of this looks good to Curry, which is why he is committed to the team.
He has always said that he would love to retire as a Warrior and Thursday’s move makes that much more likely.
Even if the road ahead remains rough for the Warriors, Curry believes in what they are doing.
