Previously, Kaitlyn was open about the “disappointment” she felt toward her ex following December 2023 rumors that Kaitlyn had cheated on him with Zac. While Kaitlyn shut down the claims, she felt Jason had leaned into the “victim mentality,” by sharing a series of cryptic posts after she was photographed ringing in the New Year with Zac.
“I don’t want to dismiss that his feelings are valid,” she explained on a January episode of Off The Vine. “I feel so disappointed that someone could use a false narrative to garner sympathy for themselves.”
Jason previously opened up about his own healing process shortly after his and Kaitlyn’s five year romance came to an end.
“These situations are never easy,” he told E! News last September. “Both Kaitlyn and I, we’re working through it. Everything’s going alright, you know, day by day, there’s highs and lows.”
He added of Kaitlyn, “ I will always have a special place in my heart for her.”
