Its devices are known for speedy and reliable performance, durable construction and design. However, Samsung gear is usually a bit costly. If you’ve been looking to upgrade or score some new tech, the company’s back-to-school discounts are a great way to save money on quality products. Samsung has improved its existing trade-in deals and increased student discounts so you can save a few more percentage points and rack up savings. 

Note that not all Samsung devices qualify for these additional discounts, but we’ve listed the best savings below so you can take advantage of these offers.

Samsung smartphone deals

The Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 has an asking price of $1,900 for the 512GB model. However, you can currently score a trade-in credit of up to $1,200. If you don’t have an eligible device, you can still save $600 with a new purchase. Right now, you can score a credit of $300 and get a free storage upgrade.

If you’re a student or eligible worker, you can save up to 15% on your purchase after verifying this with Samsung. You can save 25% on a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra or Galaxy Buds 3.

Samsung/CNET

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra can cost up to $1,660 if you purchase the 1TB version. However, you can save $750 with instant trade-in credit during Samsung’s back-to-school event. Students and eligible employees can get a discount of 15% on this phone right now.

Folks with no phone to trade in can still score a $200 credit and save 25% on additional purchases of the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra or Galaxy Buds 3 or Buds Pro when you purchase this phone.

A great tablet is the perfect back-to-school accessory, but one from Samsung can come at a cost. These can run you up to $920, but students and eligible employees can currently save 20%, double the usual student discount.

If you have an eligible device to hand in, you can get a trade-in credit of up to $600. If you have nothing to trade in, you can still get an instant credit of up to $150.
