Jimmy Fallon Jokes How His Kids’ Milestone Made for “Traumatic” Summer

[ad_1]

Jimmy Fallon thinks summer camp is very ew

In fact, The Tonight Show host recently revealed why having his daughters Winnie, 11, and Frances, 10, go away to summer camp was “the worst” for him and wife Nancy Juvonen

“I don’t know why they asked us to go,” Jimmy explained to E! News in an exclusive interview. “I go, ‘Why would you want to go somewhere else? You have such a great life here with dad and mom.’ They’re like, ‘we’re ready to go.’ And they had the best time.”

But while his kids enjoyed themselves, Jimmy and Nancy—who met through friend Drew Barrymore in 2004—had that summertime sadness.

“It was so sad for me and my wife,” he added. “You couldn’t talk to them. There was a call time between 10:30 and 10:45. It was like they were in prison.” (For more from Jimmy, tune into E! News tonight, Aug. 27, at 11 p.m.)

As Jimmy joked, “It’s like ‘I’m coming to get you out honey. You didn’t do anything wrong. I’m coming to get you.’”
