The Washington Commanders have struggled to find consistency as an organization for the past several years.

They have had a few mishaps along the way, both on and off the field.

With this in mind, the Commanders are hoping the 2024 season can be a bit of a reset and can get back on track.

Playing in the NFC East isn’t easy, especially considering how well the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys have performed in recent seasons.

Despite their lack of success over the past few years, Cris Collinsworth recently highlighted his belief in Jayden Daniels, and his ability to transform the organization.

As he mentioned to Mike Tirico in a Sunday Night Football broadcast, “Mike, I have to say, I think [Jayden Daniels] is going to be a superstar in this league.”

Daniels, of course, was the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft.

He presented as a dual-threat option, a new normal for NFL quarterbacks.

After seeing players like Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen take off on the run and be great passers, teams have been seeking players like this, as they represent a new era at the position.

Daniels has looked great in training camp and the preseason, but the regular season is an entirely different animal.

Collinsworth is excited to see what he can do and truly believes that he could be a special player in this league.

Will the tides finally change for the Commanders this season under Daniels’ leadership under center?

Fans have less than two weeks to find out what he’ll look like in a legitimate game.
