Last season, the Miami Dolphins had what seemed to be the best offense in the NFL, as they finished first in passing yards, total yards and tied for the lead in rushing touchdowns.

But this season, there is another team that could surpass them in terms of both firepower and metrics.

On “Speak” on FS1, both Emmanuel Acho and James Jones listed their top five offenses in the league, and both had the Philadelphia Eagles on top.

Last season was a frustrating one for the Eagles, who were coming off blowing a 10-point lead in the previous season’s Super Bowl and were hoping to avenge that loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

But after starting 10-1, the Eagles came apart at the seams, losing five of their last six regular season games before getting routed in the wild-card round of the playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Yet, they could be poised for a strong bounce-back season.

They still have quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was second in the NFL MVP balloting in 2022, and one of the game’s best wide receiver duos in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

This offseason, they made a big move by signing star running back Saquon Barkley, who should provide high-octane fuel for their offense as long as he stays relatively healthy.

Additionally, the Eagles also recently traded for Jahan Dotson, who could prove to be a very solid WR3.

As a result, there seems to be a pathway for Philadelphia to return to the Super Bowl, even if Acho and Jones turn out to be wrong about it having the best offense in the game.
