Avowed is a Funny and Action-Packed RPG at Gamescom
I’m here at games com and I just got done playing Xbox’s upcoming RPG avowed. I’m outside of their booth now. And if you’re a fan of Skyrim pay attention, I spent about half an hour with the game. And while it doesn’t have specific character classes, the demo let us choose between builds similar to rogue mage or what I chose. Barbarian. I was dual wielding a sword and an ax imbued with ice magic. I did one side quest where I had to track down a missing relic and a group of warriors before learning that the person sending me on the quest would double cross me instead of talking it out. I chose to kill him instead. And this led to an optional boss battle where I was able to get away with his fire sword. The game is shaping up well and the dialogue was a lot funnier than I expected. A V is coming out February 18th for Xbox and PC and will be day one on game pass.
