The days of choosing between portability and performance when shopping for a new laptop are long gone, and Apple’s latest M3 MacBook Pro laptops are a prime example of that fact. They’re the best MacBooks that Apple has ever made thanks to a thin and light construction and incredibly fast M3-series chips. But that combination of things doesn’t come cheap. Not unless you take advantage of this deal that saves you a whopping $500, that is. Best Buy is now selling the M4 Pro 14-inch MacBook Pro for just $1,499, down from the usual $1,999 asking price.

Unfortunately, we can’t vouch for how long that particular deal is going to last and that means ordering your new laptop now is the best way to make sure that you don’t wind up overpaying later. MacBook deals like this don’t often last for long.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

In terms of features, this laptop has it all. The M3 Pro chip is more than fast enough for most people while it’s paired with 18GB of RAM and a 512GB solid-state drive. You’ll also get the excellent Liquid Retina XDR display measuring 14.2 inches, too.

Other aspects of note include a backlit keyboard, Touch ID support for authentication of apps and payments, and a built-in webcam for FaceTime calls and more.

This laptop deal is available on both the space black and silver finishes so make sure to pick the one that you like best before placing your order. Got an old laptop to trade in? You could even get up to $825 back when you hand it over to Best Buy, too.
