Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has been out of practice of late due to an undisclosed injury that the team has been vague about, though nobody involved has given any indication that it’s anything major.
Waddle himself recently gave an update in a training camp press conference about his injury status to let fans know what’s going on.
Waddle was back on the practice field today and spoke with the media while appearing to be in good spirits, saying it was “something minor but something we had to respect” in regards to his injury before saying “I’m just happy to be back out there working with the guys.”

Waddle still provided no information about what exactly he was going through, but it’s likely a “no news is good news” situation.
If something was truly wrong, we likely would have heard about it by now.
The main priority of training camp is making it to Week 1 healthy and prepared, and Waddle still has plenty of time to do that even though he probably won’t see any preseason action.
Waddle also said that this injury wouldn’t have hindered him in the regular season and that the team was just being cautious in holding him out as long as they did, as Wednesday was the first time he saw action in practice since August 7th.
Dolphins fans look like they have nothing to worry about here, and their star receiver will be ready to go with no limitations and looking to put up a career year.
