Gamescom Opening Night Live Recap

We’re here in Cologne, Germany for games com opening night live where they announced a ton of new games and showed off a bunch of new trailers. We’re gonna run through some of the stuff that excited us and really pleased the crowd. First. Berserker. Kazan is probably the game I am most excited for. I thought that looked great. What are you excited for David Dune awakening the new MMO. Everyone’s pretty hyped from the Dunny Villa N movies. So I’m pumped to get our hands on that. I’m gonna be seeing Dune awakening this week. So stay tuned for my preview of that. Another thing I’m excited for Tim Miller came out to show off secret level which seems to be an anthology TV show coming to Prime in December, but it takes place in a bunch of different game universes. Next up Civilization Seven. We haven’t had a Sid Meyer Civilization game since Civ six in 2016. I think. So. Gamers have been waiting a long time. We got our first gameplay footage today. They started the show off with Borderlands Four. Not a huge secret that they were working on the next Borderlands, but after that terrible movie. I’m looking forward to being excited about Borderlands again. Marvel rivals. Of course, everyone’s kind looking forward to a uh six V six hero PV P shooter. It looks great. It looks fun and um reviews are coming in fine. So let’s look forward to it. Peter Molyneux himself came on stage to announce Masters of Albion. You can make your town and do anything you want with it or go down and inhabit a hero to rock monsters on your own. So look forward to that. And last one I’m gonna call out is Indiana Jones. And the Great Circle. I got to do a preview of this last week that you can go read right now. I’m excited for that game to come out and they announced it’s coming to PS five in early 2025. Look forward to a bunch of more games com coverage happening this week. We’re here all week covering the biggest video game show in the world. So stay tuned and we’ll see you guys then.
