Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill posted his second consecutive 1,700-yard season last year and set a career-high with 1,799 yards to go along with 13 touchdowns, which both led the NFL.
Despite all the gaudy numbers, Hill believes one of his teammates is the “most consistent guy” in the team’s wide receiver room.
In response to a clip shared by former ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III of Tua Tagovailoa’s touchdown pass in Saturday’s 13-6 preseason victory over the Washington Commanders, Tyreek said “My number one pick River (Cracraft) is the most consistent guy in our WR room.”

Cracraft had two catches for 29 yards and a touchdown in the game and is working to solidify his role as the No. 4 wide receiver on this team behind Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Odell Beckham Jr.
He has just 18 catches over the last two seasons for 223 yards and three touchdowns, but the 29-year-old looked to have strong chemistry with his quarterback in this clip and could be due for a slightly larger role this upcoming season.
The team lost Cedrick Wilson Jr. after he signed with the New Orleans Saints this offseason, while the fliers the Dolphins took on Robbie Chosen and Chase Claypool are both also a distant memory, so there’s an opportunity for Cracraft to carve out a role as a nice safety valve for Tua.
It’s a nice compliment coming from Hill, and Cracraft continues to put in the work every day to hopefully become a bigger part of this offense.
With just 37 targets since coming into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2018, it would be nice to see Cracraft surpass that number in this year alone.
