For years, Damian Lillard has been one of the most explosive and dominant scorers in the NBA.

Unfortunately, Father Time is undefeated, and the talented point guard might not be able to outrun him.

Lillard has struggled with injuries over the past couple of years or so, and he wasn’t particularly at his best last season, his first with the Milwaukee Bucks.

That’s why some analysts and fans believe he’s starting to break down.

With that in mind, the former Portland Trail Blazers star told Jim Owczarski that that’s not the case at all.

Per Lillard, he can still do the same things he did years ago (via Legion Hoops).

“I can do the same (expletive) I did two, three years ago. I can do it right now,” Lillard said.

Lillard is going to have to prove it on the court.

The Bucks were one of the most disappointing teams in the league last season.

Granted, plenty of that had to do with Adrian Griffin’s inability to get a grip on the players, and Doc Rivers’ mid-season arrival didn’t do much to help their case.

Then again, whenever you have two players of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s and Damian Lillard’s caliber, expectations are very high.

Lillard had the Miami Heat as his preferred destination and also had to deal with some stuff off the court that may have taken a toll on his game.

But now, with a full season playing together and a full training camp with Coach Rivers at the helm, they’ll be able to bounce back, and Lillard will prove that he’s still got plenty left on the tank.
