The Carolina Panthers were the worst team in the NFL last season and overhauled the entire organization this offseason by bringing in a new coaching staff and plenty of free agents on both sides of the football.

With training camp and preseason well underway, Carolina is continuing to refine its roster, and the team recently announced six roster moves.

KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson announced that the Panthers have signed Jack Anderson, Walter Palmore, and Tayvion Robinson while also waiving Willie Drew, Kaden Shirden, and Deven Thompkins.

Palmore is a defensive tackle and Anderson is an offensive lineman, giving the team some added depth in the trenches on both sides of the ball after the team endured a few injuries during Thursday’s preseason opener against the New England Patriots.

Rookie defensive lineman Jaden Crumedy suffered a high ankle sprain in the game, while offensive linemen Badara Traore and Cade Mays left the game with knee and shoulder injuries, respectively.

Robinson is a wide receiver and spent time with the Panthers earlier in camp, and he’ll step in to replace the oft-injured Thompkins.

Palmore is 28 years old and most recently played in the UFL, but spent time with the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, and Seattle Seahawks in the past.

Anderson is only 25 and has made three career starts while seeing time in 15 regular season games during his time with the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
