After an impressive 2023 campaign in which the Baltimore Ravens were arguably the best team in the regular season and made it to the AFC Championship Game, John Harbaugh and company want to capitalize on what seems to be a championship window heading into the 2024 NFL season.
One way to capitalize is to try to keep his team as healthy as possible ahead of the season opener on September 5, when they will face off against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC Championship Game rematch.
Unfortunately for the Ravens, Harbaugh’s squad suffered a major blow to its defense this weekend when All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton suffered a potentially significant leg injury.
Harbaugh shared an update on Hamilton’s injury when speaking to the media on Sunday, and it seems to be a positive development on one of the team’s best players on the defensive side of the football via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
“It looks stable; it looks good,” Harbaugh said. “Obviously, we’ll continue to do some tests tonight and tomorrow to make sure, but the first indications are that he’s fine.”

Obviously, this is good news for the Ravens as the injury might not be serious, which would’ve been devastating with the start of the regular season only a few weeks away.
If the Ravens can start the season healthy, it will bode well for this talented squad on both sides of the football, going the distance and giving the defending champions a run for their money in Week 1 in Kansas City.
