Team USA survived a very serious scare on Thursday when Serbia almost defeated them at the Paris Olympics.

But the Americans rallied, came back strong, and won the game.

Many of the team’s biggest stars were shining brightly during the match but Jayson Tatum was not.

Once again, Tatum didn’t play a single minute in the game.

On his show, Gilbert Arenas agreed with fans who said that Tatum is being treated like Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

Instead of playing alongside LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and others, Tatum is sitting on the sidelines for most of the tournament.

It’s a perplexing situation and one that is getting a lot of criticism.

Head coach Steve Kerr elected to go with Anthony Edwards during Thursday’s game.

Even when Edwards struggled, Kerr chose not to call upon Tatum, who sat out of his second game in these Olympics.

Now Team USA has just one more game, which means Tatum has one more chance to play.

No matter what happens, many people will always question Kerr and his choices.

Why has Tatum sat out so much after just winning an NBA title?

Why have his Boston Celtics teammates Derrick White and Jrue Holiday received so much more time than him?

Does Kerr have a grudge against Tatum or is this just solely a strategic move?

Many people expected Tatum to be one of the biggest stars on the team this summer but instead, he’s mostly been a benchwarmer.

Team USA’s final game is on Saturday.

Will Tatum finally get some more playing time as the Americans battle for gold?
