The Green Bay Packers entered the 2023 season with a lot of questions surrounding them.

The most pressing, of course, was about Jordan Love, and if he had the necessary tools at his disposal to lead this team for the foreseeable future.

After all, the Packers lucked out by having two legendary quarterbacks back to back: Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers.

Love had some roller coaster moments in 2023, but for the most part, he found a way to exceed expectations.

Rodgers and Favre laid a great groundwork for him to get started, but it’s Love’s team now.

He has seemingly been encouraged along the way by Matt LaFleur, as he provided a memorable soundbite from a recent interview with Kay Adams.

As Love mentioned of LaFleur, “First thing he told me when I took over was to be myself, don’t try to be Aaron or anyone else who’s been here. Just be me.”

If Love can be himself again next year, Packers fans will be in for a real treat.

He showcased his abilities at the highest level and showed his teammates that he was the real deal.

Sure, he can sometimes look a bit like Rodgers or Favre on the field, but that’s natural.

Love’s primary focus at the moment, as LaFleur indicated, is that he focuses on himself and keeps his eyes on the prize.

The Packers have a rich history of winning, and Love showed a bit of that last year, but he’ll have to turn it up a notch to make a real difference.
