But Ryan wasn’t the only one who got some questions in as Brandon was soon joined by none other than Blake’s “hottest plus one,” Ryan’s mom Tammy Reynolds.
“Well it’s not everyday the mother-in-law of the leading lady gets to interview the love interest,” she began. “And the man trying to replace my sweet little gummy bear Ryan.”
She continued, “Brandon, I saw the film. And may I say, you are incredible in this movie. On a scale from one to ‘I stop taking my blood thinner medication,’ because if I can’t have you, I don’t want me.”
The 34-year-old responded by advising Tammy to definitely keep taking her medication and confessing he was a little worried about her son.
And said son quickly jumped in, asking Brandon if he would be interested in being his new dad, joking that he “he could really use a man in his life. Hugh [Jackman] is no spring chicken anymore.”
Of course, the Greatest Showman star soon joined in on the interview himself.
“It’s not everyday a guy gets to interview the love interest of his best friend’s wife,” Hugh explained. “And the guy trying to replace Ryan as a husband and me as his best mate.”
