After spending the first eight years of his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans, star running back Derrick Henry has a new home for the 2024 season.

He joined the Baltimore Ravens in free agency, giving the Ravens a big boost a year after they finished with the NFL’s best record and reached the AFC Championship Game.

Henry has been amazed by new teammate Lamar Jackson, and he is impressed with the quarterback’s arm talent, per NFL on CBS.

Jackson is coming off an amazing year in which he threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns and added 821 yards and five touchdowns on the ground while winning his second regular season MVP award.

He is one of the more athletically gifted quarterbacks the league has ever seen, and his passing ability has seemingly gotten better over time.

It looks like the Ravens have what they need to seriously challenge the two-time defending world champion Kansas City Chiefs, the team they lost to in the playoffs last season.

But the one knock on Jackson is a big one — critics say he just cannot win the big game.

On the other hand, Henry’s ability to put together big-yardage gains could be just what Baltimore needs to get over the hump and what Jackson needs to silence his critics.

The AFC North is looking like a black-and-blue division, but right now, Baltimore is looking like the top dogs there, and many would likely be surprised if they don’t finish in first place and return to the conference championship game.
