The Golden State Warriors’ season hasn’t started yet, but there might be some drama brewing already.

Steve Kerr might not be very appreciative of what Draymond Green had to say in the latest edition of his podcast, as it may have been a bit of a shot at him.

The former Defensive Player of the Year seemingly called out Kerr for not playing Jayson Tatum in the first game of the Olympics.

Green claimed that you just don’t do that to a guy who’s fresh off winning an NBA championship and getting on the cover of NBA 2K and Sports Illustrated, let alone a guy who just signed the biggest contract in NBA history (via The Volume).

Green pointed out as well that in the past Olympics, the team’s offense was built around Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum, sort of a ‘passing of the torch kind of thing.’

He believes that, if anything, the players who should have not played should’ve been Tyrese Haliburton and Derrick White.

Of course, he might have a valid point with this.

Then again, it’s been two games since that happened already, and all the parties who were actually involved in it have shared their thoughts on the matter.

Perhaps calling out the coach of the team that actually pays your salary isn’t the best way to get the ball rolling, especially with all the controversies surrounding himself as a player last season, not to mention the team’s desperate need to get back to championship contention.

Still, that’s just the way Draymond Green rolls, for better or worse.
