The Chicago Bears will look to get back to their winning ways in the 2024 NFL season after revamping their roster with offensive talent.

Caleb Williams will be the new face of the franchise after the quarterback was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he’ll have plenty of help from D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, D’Andre Swift and Cole Kmet.

With that much talent on the field, it’s hard to imagine the Bears will have trouble scoring.

Prior to the upcoming season, though, Chicago saw one of its legends, Devin Hester, honored with his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Hester is widely considered the greatest return specialist of all time as he holds several NFL records, including most career punt return touchdowns and most combined return touchdowns.

Although Hester is the lone return specialist to be named to the Hall of Fame to date, he said fellow returners Josh Cribbs and Brian Mitchell should join him in the future.

“I’m not the only returner who deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I’m just the first,” Hester said during his induction speech, via Courtney Cronin of ESPN.

Like Hester, Cribbs and Mitchell were prolific specialists who made their own marks in that phase of the game, though they may be a tier below the Bears great.

However, their careers at least warrant some future consideration from the induction committee.
