One of the better indicators of how much success a rookie quarterback will have in the NFL is the coaching and training he has access to.
Having the right coaching staff, not to mention the right trainers, can make all the difference and help him reach his full potential.
Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, is looking to make the Chicago Bears into winners for one of the few times since the 1980s, and he is already employing a program that was created by a legend.
Former NFL wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh said that Williams is using the TB12 method, which was co-created by the great Tom Brady, and that he’s been talking often to Alex Guerrero, Brady’s trainer.
“I know that Caleb has talked to Alex quite a few times on the phone,” Houshmandzadeh said. “… They’ve talked a lot.”

The TB12 method involves maintaining a stringent diet and prioritizing pliability and flexibility, and no one can argue with the results.
Brady played 23 seasons in the NFL and won seven Super Bowl championships, and he claimed two of those titles in his 40s, which seemed unimaginable until he did it.
In doing so, he has rewritten the book when it comes to athletic longevity, and thus, there is now a pathway for young QBs to have very long careers with sustained peak performance.
Williams will also have help right away with the Bears in the form of wide receiver D.J. Moore and Keenan Alen, both of whom are productive and established NFL veterans, as well as wideout Rome Odunze, the No. 9 overall pick this year.
Bears fans should feel extremely fortunate that the pieces for a Super Bowl championship could already be in place.
