Despite a rocky start to the 2023 season, the Buffalo Bills ended the year with an 11-6 record, which was good enough for another AFC East title.
One of the things the team did to turn their season around was to change up their offensive coordinators, promoting Joe Brady to OC when things weren’t going great with Ken Dorsey.
Brady has plenty of experience as a coach and coordinator, as he was heralded for his work with the Carolina Panthers, where he made a name for himself in the NFL ranks.
His schemes have impressed the front office, and he has seemed to gain a lot of trust from the offense as well.
Josh Allen recently sat down with Kay Adams at training camp to talk about how much Brady has helped transform this team, and how much he and the rest of his teammates respect him.
As he told Adams, “What I love about Joe is that he wants to call plays that we want to run. You know, he comes to our meetings a day before the game, saying, ‘You guys figure out what the first three plays you want to run as an offensive line, Khalil Shakir, I want your favorite pass to get you going, Josh Allen, I want a quick game, I want a deep answer’”.

With Allen’s full support, Brady could stick around for the foreseeable future, provided the Bills keep winning and playing well on the offensive side of the ball.
The AFC is slated to be a tough battle again this year, but with a quarterback like Allen paired with a solid defense, they might be able to stand out among the other giants.
