After the Philadelphia Eagles flamed out in epic fashion in the first round of the 2023 NFL playoffs, getting crushed by Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, star center Jason Kelce had a decision to make about whether he wanted to stick around for another season in hopes of winning another Super Bowl ring with the franchise.

Although Kelce admitted on many different occasions that it was very tough for him to think of life after his playing days were over, the future Hall of Famer finally came to terms with it and decided to call it a career, leaving behind an incredible legacy as one of the best players ever to play the position.

Even though Kelce knew he could still play at a high level, he already transitioned into a different career as a successful podcast host alongside his brother and saw a bright future ahead after football.

However, that didn’t stop new Eagles running back Saquon Barkley from trying to convince him to return to the gridiron for one more season, and it appears that Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman also wants him back, but as a scout, as he said on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams.

“I think Jason would be great at anything in football,” Roseman said. “I think he’d be a heck of an evaluator. I tried to recruit him to come to work for me, too, because he can evaluate players.”

Although Kelce has a budding podcast career and a future in media, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that he will one day circle back to Roseman to pursue a position within the organization evaluating talent.

One thing is for sure: Kelce’s passion for the game hasn’t changed, and he will continue to be a household name for many years to come.
