The Jacksonville Jaguars will be looking to bounce back in the 2024 season after a letdown year in 2023.

Although Jacksonville has a lot of young talent on both sides of the field, they were unable to hit their potential and thus had to watch the rest of the AFC pass them by.

However, this time around there is more optimism that the Jaguars will be more competitive after addressing some needs on the roster.

Following free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft, Jacksonville has a more balanced roster and should be considered a sleeper team in the conference.

Leading the defense is Josh Hines-Allen who has established himself as one of the best young pass rushers in the league.

During training camp, Hines-Allen noted how the new-look Jaguars look and believes they’re set up for success via NFL Network.

“I think we look better, I think we look stronger, I think we look faster,” Hines-Allen said.

At this point of the offseason, every player and team is optimistic about their outlook though in this case Hines-Allen seems confident that the new pieces in place alongside natural growth will propel Jacksonville forward.

The defensive line got a huge boost when the team added Arik Armstead, but they also drafted Maason Smith to help along the interior.

With more help in the trenches, it should help Hines-Allen get loose along the edge and get after opposing quarterbacks.

The Jaguars have a lot to prove in 2024, but with Hines-Allen leading the way they could be in line to make some noise.
