The Dallas Cowboys are entering a massive season in 2024.
Head coach Mike McCarthy is going to be coaching on the final year of his contract, and star players such as quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and edge-rusher Micah Parsons are all looking for new deals too.
To make matters a little tougher, the team did virtually nothing this offseason to inch themselves closer to the likes of the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC.
Fox Sports’s Nick Wright is not high on the Cowboys at all entering the year.
“They got absolutely nothing done this offseason and they managed to, at least temporarily, go backwards with one of their three most important players,” Wright recently said on First Things First.

The player that Wright is referring to is Lamb, who has not reported to training camp in the hopes of getting a major extension from the team.
Dallas did make a couple of small moves to sure up some needs.
They signed former Pro Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliot after Tony Pollard left for Tennessee as a free agent.
Additionally, they signed former All-Pro linebacker Eric Kendricks to try and replace former Pro Bowl linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, who retired earlier this offseason.
Other than that, Jerry Jones has not done much in the hopes of inking the aforementioned players above to extensions.
With the lack of moves that Jones made to help the team, Dallas could be in some trouble this season.
