It is the start of training camp on Lombardi Avenue in Green Bay.
The Packers took the practice field with almost all of their players as they set off on their journey towards a possible Super Bowl run.
One player who did not take the practice field was franchise quarterback Jordan Love, who is not going to practice with the field until he gets a contract extension.
Fox Sports’s Colin Cowherd believes now is the time to pay Love.
“Green Bay wants to get it done. Jordan Love wants to get it done…I’m going to side with Jordan Love here…The Packers have had years and years of watching Jordan Love’s maturity, his judgment, his talent,” Cowherd recently said on The Herd.

In his first year taking over for Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback, Love showed that he is more than capable of leading the team forward.
He threw for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns (2nd in the NFL) while leading the Packers to the second round of the playoffs.
In the final eight weeks of the regular season, Love threw 18 touchdowns and just a single interception.
Keep in mind that he was leading the youngest offense in the entire NFL and proved that he was already one of the best signal-callers in the league.
If Green Bay is looking to contend for Super Bowls for years to come, paying the 25-year-old star seems like the smart move if you are Packers GM Brian Gutekunst.
