A Note from a Longtime Reader

This email from a Political Wire member really made my day:

I wanted to send a note thanking you for the great coverage over one of the freaking craziest political months of my lifetime!

Some days at work are lighter than others and some days I am slammed, working 16 hours. But the cool thing is, I can enjoy Political Wire differently on either kind of days.

On the lighter days, I can hop into the comments section with the PW regulars and discuss the issues of the day in depth with some of the smartest, most creative people I (virtually) know. The discussion boards are so good, when I see stories, I often think,”I wonder was Rhysem will think of this”, “Sassy would not approve of that nonsense!” or “Boy…Cedric is going to definitely have an opinion on this!”

It is amazing how rich the community is!

But on the heavier days is when I really rely on PW. On the 16 hour work days, I don’t have time to go deep, so I need the top stories in a streamlined format. PW has always been my go to news site for this reason.

But it is the subscriber content that has really helped keep me up to date as the world goes mad. Your “let me summarize this crazy train” posts for the subscribers is what I scan to when there are 50 posts since I was able to check in. It at least gives me a snippet of the events shaping the world from a voice I trust. The subscription is worth every penny!

Just wanted to thank you and tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your stuff for the last 25 years!
