Best Early Prime Day deals on soundbars

Samsung / CNET

This terrific Samsung soundbar is only about $40 away from its cheapest-ever price with a significant $200-plus discount already applied. It might get even cheaper come the Prime Day but for now it’s still worth considering. It has everything you need with Dolby Audio, Adaptive Sound, wireless surround sound, Bluetooth, Q-Symphony and a sleek black finish.

Mzeibo / CNET

A budget entry-level soundbar that will help elevate any TV’s audio. Its understated design will fit in with any setup along with its two speakers. This is the cheapest we’ve seen for this soundbar and you can’t do much better for the price point.

Yamaha / CNET

The Yamaha True X is a quality soundbar that works great for both movies and gaming. On top of Dolby Atmos, you get a built-in subwoofer in addition to the separate wireless subwoofer, Wi-Fi streaming for music, Clear Voice technology to better dialogue and Yamaha’s own True Sound for a cinema-like experience.

Sony / CNET

One of the best soundbars out there and certainly one of the best from Sony is now down to its lowest-ever price at Amazon, thanks to a decent 29% discount. Save over $400 for a top gaming soundbar with two HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR support, 360 Spatial Sound, Dolby Atmos, and Alexa and Google Assistant support.

Hisense / CNET

A decent 22% discount drops this Hisense down to a great asking price considering the Dolby Atmos power it offers. It’s currently $50 away from its lowest-ever price, so it may drop further come Prime Day. We’ll keep an eye and update you if so.

How we choose the best Prime Day soundbar deals

Many of us here at CNET have covered shopping events for over five years, including Black FridayPrime DayMemorial Day and countless other shopping events. In that time, we’ve learned how to spot the best deals among a sea of thousands of superficial offers and scams, and we only surface the best offers from trusted retailers. We look for real discounts, quality reviews and remaining sale time when choosing soundbar deals to show you.

  • Real discounts mean genuine savings. We check pricing history for products listed as on sale so we know when it’s a case of an inflated list price rather than an actual discount.
  • Quality reviews and testing are super important for any product. A discount isn’t worthwhile if it results in a subpar product experience, no matter how much you saved.
  • Remaining sale time is important, too. Some deals are only around for a short time or may be limited in supply. If that’s the case, we’ll let you know upfront so you don’t come back to the deal later only to be disappointed.
