Aaron Rodgers is far from retired, and with the longevity of quarterbacks recently, he could still enjoy a few more successful NFL seasons.

Despite his unfinished legacy, there’s been considerable discussion of his place on the Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks.

Some seek to dismiss Rodgers’ accomplishments because he owns only one Super Bowl ring.

However, at least one analyst believes such a viewpoint needs to be revised and completely misses the incredible body of work Rodgers has achieved.

David Helman told Speak on FS1 that when Rodgers was in his prime, “I don’t think any quarterback has ever played the position better than him.”

Helman made the valid point that Super Bowls matter, especially when attempting to determine the absolute best of all time.

However, Rodgers has a career that few have come close to, even though it was at times overshadowed in recent years by controversies and media frenzies.

To deny his place among NFL greats, Helman noted, is to be ignorant of Rodgers’ talent and accomplishments.

He is a four-time NFL MVP as well as a Super Bowl champion and MVP.

Rodgers also led Green Bay to at least ten wins in a remarkable ten different seasons.

If statistics are a determining factor, consider that Rodgers led the league during individual years in completion percentage, touchdowns (twice), touchdown percentage (four times), and interception percentage (six times).

At his peak, the list of quarterbacks on his level could be counted on one hand, perhaps with fingers left over.

And his gold jacket for Canton has already been sized.
