Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is one of the more innovative head coaches in the game right now.

He has guided the Dolphins to back-to-back playoff berths for the first time since the turn of the century.

It is now clear that his goal is not just to make the playoffs.

“I want to win multiple Super Bowl trophies and ultimately that results in me being able to be a gold jacket-wearer,” McDaniel recently said on The Dan Le Batard Show.

So far, so good for the 41-year-old coach.

He has laid the groundwork over his first two seasons for a special tenure in Miami.

He has helped his team win a total of 20 games in two years.

The former offensive coordinator has a talented Pro Bowl quarterback at the helm in Tua Tagovailoa.

He also has some great skill players in Canton-bound Tyreek Hill, 1,000-yard wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, former Super Bowl champion Odell Beckham Jr., Pro Bowl running back Raheem Mostert, and speedy running back De’Von Achane.

The way things are trending right now, McDaniel could be game for even more success if he keeps doing what he has been doing.
