Draymond Green has played with a few of the greatest NBA stars of this generation but there is still one person he hasn’t teamed up with.

A video shared by NBACentral features Green being asked which player he wants to compete with and Green was direct with his answer: “LeBron.”

Although Green and LeBron James might not ever play on the same team, it’s not surprising to see Green answer this way.

They have been rivals for years and have sometimes gotten quite intense with one another on the court but James and Green have been friends for a very long time as well.

These two have proven that people can remain close despite how intense their on-court rivalry is.

James and Green have been linked before in rumors because their friendship has been so public.

However, it’s very unlikely that they will ever suit up together on the same team.

They are both older players and retirement is drawing nearer and nearer.

There is only so much time left in their careers and they are committed to their respective teams.

So even though Green wishes to play with his friend, he probably never will.

Instead, they will remain buddies off the court and tough competitors on it.

Green is now 34 years old and definitely has a few more years in his career.

He will likely be in the NBA after James retires.

Perhaps that means he will be able to see his friends sitting from the sidelines cheering him on instead of on the court trying to beat him.
