The Las Vegas Raiders have more than enough resources to be a better team next season.

Of course, their quarterback situation is far from ideal and they will clearly miss Josh Jacobs, but their defense should be solid.

More than that, Antonio Pierce has the full confidence of his troops, and that can always take a team a long way.

With that in mind, Kay Adams asked Davante Adams his thoughts on Pierce getting the job on a full-time basis (via Up & Adams).

The former Green Bay Packers star raved about his new full-time coach, stating that things were a million times better as soon as he took the reins from Josh McDaniels.

Adams pointed out the fact that players started playing harder and leaving everything on the field when Pierce got the nod.

Also, the way he connects and communicates with them was strong enough for several players to even threaten to leave the team if they didn’t hire him on a full-time basis.

Adams was rumored to be on his way out of Las Vegas before Pierce’s arrival.

He hadn’t shied away or hidden his discomfort during the McDaniels era, and with Derek Carr no longer there, there weren’t that many incentives to stay in Sin City.

Now, everybody seems to be on the same page and fully on board with Pierce, who was also a player and was also in the trenches like them and that could make them a very dangerous team a couple of years from now.
