Cooper Flagg hasn’t played a single minute of NBA basketball, but he’s already put NBA players on notice.

The Montverde Academy product is going to take his talents to Duke next season, and he’s going to be must-watch television from day one.

Flagg has been a sensation on social media for years now, and his NBA-ready body and game have made some people think that he could have been ready to make it to the league right out of high school.

Needless to say, that hasn’t been the case for decades now, and while teams are always in a rush to get young players there, it never hurts for players to develop.

Flagg recently made the rounds online for dominating actual NBA superstars during Team USA’s scrimmage, and the guys from SLAM Magazine made the most of the chance to have him there to ask him some questions (via ClutchPoints & Hoop Central).

They asked him several questions, such as the greatest WNBA player of all time, to which he replied Sue Bird.

He chose the 85-86 Boston Celtics as the greatest NBA team of all-time, Gregg Popovich as the best coach to ever do it, and Kahwi Leonard as the greatest defender ever.

Last but not least, he chose Michael Jordan as the best to ever do it, claiming that ‘he’s the GOAT.’

Notably, that’s not what most young players of his generation would’ve said, and that speaks volumes about his competitiveness and old-school mentality, knowing that winning and getting the job done on both ends of the floor is all that matters.
