Four years ago, Bam Adebayo was a rising star in the NBA.

His play with the Miami Heat was enough to grant him a spot on Team USA’s roster for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Now, he’s even more established in the league.

With that in mind, the USA Basketball account took to Twitter to share a clip of Adebayo getting the first look at his new threads.

The Heat big man looked far from impressed at first glance, but he claimed to actually like it a lot.

He even went as far as to say that NBA jerseys should take a page from their book, as the jersey was simple and ‘straight to the point.’

Whether he likes the Jersey or not, Adebayo is expected to have a huge role on the team, regardless of whether it’s coming off the bench or as a starter.

He’s tailor-made for the FIBA-style game, as he’s a strong, defensive-oriented big man with sound fundamentals.

He might not be asked to do much on the offensive end, but he’s shown over the past couple of years that he can also be a 20-points-per-game scorer if need be.

Team USA brought out the stars to get back on their feet after the disappointment in the FIBA World Cup, and they’ll look to exert their dominance over the rest of the globe again on the biggest stage.
