Even though his San Francisco 49ers lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, Christian McCaffrey has had a very happy offseason in at least one way.

The star running back recently got married, and a number of his current and former teammates were on hand for the special occasion.

One of them — former Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen — had a pic from the wedding that has gone viral, per Bleacher Report.

McCaffrey spent his first five and a half seasons with the Panthers, which allowed him to spend a few seasons on the field with Olsen.

Olsen made three straight Pro Bowls from 2014 to 2016 right before McCaffrey came on board as the No. 8 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, and although injuries greatly slowed him down afterward, he remained a decent offensive option.

When McCaffrey came to San Francisco, he took the team from a good one that had a weak running game to an outstanding one with a loaded and unpredictable offense.

He isn’t just an incredible pure running back — he is also very adept at catching passes, and he even runs routes and occasionally lines up as a makeshift wide receiver rather than simply hauling in screen passes.

By posting 1,459 rushing yards, which led the league, 14 rushing touchdowns, 564 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns last season, McCaffrey earned the Offensive Player of the Year award, as well as his third Pro Bowl nod and second All-Pro First Team selection.

He is a huge reason why some feel the 49ers are poised to finally win the Super Bowl championship this coming season.
