After two dismal seasons with the Denver Broncos, quarterback Russell Wilson will be starting with something of a clean slate again as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is surely eager to re-establish himself as one of the NFL’s better signal-callers and give the Steelers some sort of chance at going deep in the playoffs.
He has apparently put in lots of work this offseason, as a tweet from Dov Kleiman shows him looking physically jacked for the 2024 season.

Fans had some varied reactions to that photo.
Too bad “being jacked” doesn’t help you throw the ball much lol

Don’t think his physique was ever an issue?
More so his performances with ball in hand

After 10 seasons and a Super Bowl championship with the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson was traded to the Broncos two years ago, and people quickly tabbed the Broncos as title contenders.
But they failed to make the playoffs the last two seasons, and they finally pulled the plug by releasing him this offseason.
In Pittsburgh, Wilson will have a little more help than he had in Denver, particularly on defense, which is the principal strength of the Steelers.
They have star edge rusher T.J. Watt, and this offseason, they signed free agent linebacker Patrick Queen, who made the Pro Bowl last season for the first time.
Wilson’s stats looked solid last year — he threw for 3,070 yards and 26 touchdowns — but he averaged just 6.9 yards gained per pass attempt and 10.3 yards gained per completion, both of which were career lows.
Steelers Nation is hoping that head coach Mike Tomlin will be able to work his magic on Wilson and make him look spry once again.
