The 2024 hopes for the Arizona Cardinals will hang on the ability and health of Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray.
After returning from a torn ACL to finish out the second half of 2023, Murray is fully healthy entering 2024 and has had some time to build connections with some of his new weapons, such as rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
One of his more experienced weapons is third-year tight end Trey McBride.
McBride apparently has high expectations for his quarterback this year.
“He seems more motivated than ever…I have full confidence that he’s capable of an MVP season,” McBride recently told the NFL Network.

Before the ACL injury in 2022, Murray was coming off of back-to-back Pro Bowl nods.
The former Offensive Rookie of the Year is one of the most electrifying players in the game at his best.
He has three career seasons with over 3,500 yards passing 400 yards rushing.
Murray has this ability to extend plays and put a lot of stress on defenses with his legs.
The former Heisman winner will have to do some heavy lifting after the team lost starting wide receivers “Hollywood” Brown and Rondale Moore earlier this offseason.
But the additions of the former All-American in Harrison Jr. and a savvy veteran in Zay Jones could prove to be quite useful for Murray.
Also, he still has his two-time Pro Bowl running back in James Conner behind him in the backfield.
Rest assured, the season in Arizona hinges on Murray being Murray.
But he won’t be totally alone either.
