As Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Terron Armstead enters his 12th NFL season, he knows he is in the twilight of a long career.
So, when the five-time Pro Bowler says the time is now for the Dolphins to break through, he has more motivation than most.
FinsXtra reported that Armstead said the time to talk about success is over; now, the team must act.
The lineman explained, “The expectation is high…Now it’s time to, we got to do it. There’s no other secret sauce or nothing, we just got to go out and do it.”

Miami is no stranger to the postseason, but the Fins have not tasted success there since the 2000 AFC Wild Card game.
Head coach Mike McDaniel has led the team to the playoffs in both years with the top job, but each visit ended quickly in the Wild Card round.
Last year’s squad was an offensive juggernaut led by rising quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and the defense is littered with stars.
With New England’s fall, fans expected Miami to surge to the top of a division the team has not won since 2008.
But the Patriots’ demise coincided with the rise of the Bills, leaving the Dolphins forced to play through the Wild Card round, and that’s where the last two seasons ended.
Armstead, who played his first nine years in New Orleans, knows that teams have windows of opportunity that may shut quickly as circumstances change.
As a seasoned veteran, he also knows his own window is closing, making team success in 2024 even more urgent.
