After a disappointing freshman season at the University of Southern California, Bronny James, son of LeBron James, decided to enter the 2024 NBA Draft and take his chances at being selected by a team.
Even though many believe James is a project and potentially not even an NBA player, the former USC player has been reluctant to work out for teams other than the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.
Last week, footage surfaced of James going through a scrimmage at the Lakers practice facility, where he could land in the draft, mainly due to his connection to LeBron James and Klutch Sports.
However, the Suns still appear to be looming as a team intrigued by James, as they have a second workout scheduled with the 19-year-old, according to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express via NBA Central.
“NBA teams that I talk to say they cannot [get] Bronny James into their building,” Givony said. “Teams that are drafting in the late 20s and the 30s. The Phoenix Suns have a second workout scheduled with Bronny later this week, but other than that, we have not seen any NBA team be able to work him out.”

The first round of the 2024 NBA Draft will get underway on June 26. Bronny James is one of the notable names everyone will keep track of, even though he’s more likely to land with the Lakers at No. 55 in the second round the following day, June 27.
It’ll be interesting to see where Bronny James lands and what impact that may have on this father.
