Jimmy Butler has earned the praise and respect of numerous NBA fans throughout his career and some of them have celebrated him in many ways.

But few fans have commemorated their love of Butler in the way that artist John Hill has.

In a video shared on his social media account, per ClutchPoints, Hill showed off a beautiful and very realistic painting of the Miami Heat star.

The artwork feels like looking at the real Butler and is a true testament to Hill’s talents and the adoration that Butler invokes in people.

This isn’t Hill’s first time capturing the essence of real-life idols through his work.

An exploration of his Instagram account offers many paintings of several icons, including the late Kobe Bryant.

This painting of Butler is truly remarkable and it comes at a time when his future is in question.

It’s not entirely clear what’s next for the six-time All-Star, who has spent his last five seasons with the Heat.

During that time, he has averaged 21.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.

He has become the team’s most important player and a definitive leader, especially during the postseason.

But lately, there have been rumors of the Heat possibly moving on from Butler.

The Heat might not offer Butler the sort of contract extension he’d be happy with.

If that is the case, he could pack his bags and move to another team.

There are already a number of teams that are reportedly intrigued by the prospect of signing the 34-year-old star.

Hill’s painting is an amazing piece of artwork and deserves all the praise it gets.

Thankfully, it doesn’t include a jersey for Butler because it’s not obvious which one he will be wearing next season.
